England Rugby Team need to win Six Nations

Chris Robshaw has reacted to the stunning and spirited performance that the England Rugby Team put up against the Rugby World Cup holders New Zealand as they came very close to upsetting the odds and beat the world champions by declaring that the team needs to win the upcoming Six Nations title in order to show that there has been progress made by the team in the right direction.

The All Blacks suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Englishmen in an autumn international last season at the Twickenham Stoop and the world champions more than made up for that humiliating defeat by winning a thrilling QBE Internationals match against the old enemy by 30-22 but they were made to look extremely ordinary by a spirited England team.

The New Zealand motivates itself by claiming to be the most dominant team in the history of rugby but even such a team needed to count on individual brilliance to overcome an England Rugby Team that has often been blasted as boring, dull, and drab and the most hyped team in the world by the press from the rugby world.

At one point, England were trailing 17-3 before they scaled an almost impossible mountain and took a 22-20 lead at one point before New Zealand rallied back to take the game 30-22 in the end.

And although it was just the team’s second loss in the last eleven international and that too, in a captivating and energy sapping test against the world champions, England Rugby Team skipper Robshaw believes that is still unacceptable.

He mentioned that the England team is very close to where they want to be but they still need to win a major title in order to add some sort of credential to their name as well.
